About the artist

Hi, I’m Melissa Jeanne, a creative thinker, observer, and lifelong experimenter. I split my time between art, design, and the quiet pursuit of ideas that blend both.

Life

By profession, I work in lifecycle marketing and digital design, with a foundation in fine arts, color theory, and art history. Although I studied interactive media design in college, my education was rooted in traditional arts—drawing, painting, museum studies—and a deep curiosity for how visual language evolves over time.

I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of structure and creativity. Whether that’s building email journeys, designing visual systems, or figuring out how to paint light with water.

This site is one part art portfolio, one part creative journal, and one part quiet rebellion against rushing through life. You’ll probably feel at home here if you’re into thoughtful color, poetic tech, or the behind-the-scenes of making something by hand.

Embracing curiosity

I’m naturally curious and often working on more than one thing at a time. Some of my current interests include:

Exploring how analog art fits into a digital world

Using watercolor as a tool for reflection and attention

Experimenting with the overlap of tech, craft, and storytelling (sometimes with NFCs or tiny circuits)

Creating systems—for myself and others—that bring ideas to life
